Zamfara APC Envisages successful Registration of Party Members

Zamfara state Chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has assured that, the registration exercise currently going on in the country would be a huge success and hitch free in the state following the recent reconciliation of the two warring factions of former Governor Abdul Aziz Yari and Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa.

Addressing journalists immediately after the meeting with the national officers of the party who were in the state for the exercise, the state APC Caretaker Committee, Alhaji Lawal M. Liman said “We are ready for this exercise”.

“As you can see, we have just finished stakeholders meeting with the representatives of our great party who were sent to the state from the national headquarters of the party under the leadership of Alhaji Kareti Lawal with other six members”.

Liman said, “Let me tell you that, we are now one family. We have resolved ourselves”.

“The factional chairman of Senator Marafa’s faction, Alhaji Surajo Maikatako and myself of the former Governor Yari’s faction are all here today and working as one family”. 

“There is no any disagreement within our party in Zamfara state as a result of the ongoing registration exercise”. Said Liman.

He however maintained that the training of the party members on the ongoing registration exercise has commenced with a view of enlightening the members on how to register with the party.

According to him, the training was currently ongoing at the state level, adding that, the it would further be extended to 147 wards as well as 2516 poling units across the state.

He called on the party members to support the exercise in order to achieve the desired results.

“I want to assure you that, as I have been saying earlier, APC members are law-abiding and very patient. I want to call on them to come out and register as members of the APC”. Concluded Liman.
