The Miyatti Allah Cattle Breeders Association has joined the negotiation team with the bandits in an effort to rescue the kidnapped teachers and students of Government Science College Kagara in Niger State.

A competent source disclosed that,  the National President of the association, Alhaji Kiruwa Ardon Zuru is now part of the negotiation team.

According to the source, the National President was allegedly invited by the Niger State Government to serve as a mediator between the bandits and the Niger State Government.

“The source further explained that, “Ardon Zuru is highly respected by the bandits. They listen to him and as such, we are confident that, the negotiation will soon come to and end and the abducted persons will soon regain freedom”.

He also stated that, Ardon Zuru was part of the negotiation team that rescued the students of  GSSS Kankara in Katsina state who were recently abducted by bandits.

All efforts to talk to the Miyatti Allah National President failed as he refused to pick up the phone calls and also refused to respond to text messages sent to him.

It could be recalled that, When the students of GSSS Kankara were kidnapped, Miyatti Allah National President was invited by the Katsina state Government for the negotiation with the bandits and the students were released within few days.

Efforts were also made to get comments from Zamfara state Government but nobody wanted to open up.

The Special Adviser to Governor Bello Matawalle on Communications,  Media and Publicity, Alhaji Zailani Bappa said he was not aware of any arrangements being made the Zamfara state Government on the issue of kagara students because the incident happened in Niger State and not Zamfara.

Meanwhile, a competent source also informed our reporter that, there is currently a heavy security within the Kotonkoro Forest as several security personnel were drafted to ensure the release and the safety of the kidnapped teachers and students.
