Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has approved the conduct of the Annual Quránic Recitation Competition from Monday 6th March to Wednesday 9th March, 2022.
This is contained in a statement signed by the acting Executive Secretary, Arabic and Islamic Education Board, Dr. Buhari Bello and issued to newsmen on Tuesday in Birnin Kebbi.
The statement said that the closing ceremony is billed for Thursday, 10th March, 2022, at the Presidential Banquet Hall, Birnin Kebbi.
According to the statement, the state competition is the final stage of the preparation for participation in the 36th Edition of the National Qura’nic Recitation Competition coming up in Bauchi, Buachi State.
The National event is to be organized by the Centre for Islamic Studies, Usmanu Dnafodiyo University, Sokoto, starting from 18th March 2022 to Saturday 26th March 2022.
