Islamic Cleric Urges Muslims To Observe Fasting According To Sunnah

The Mutawale of Zazzau, Professor Amimu Ladan Sharehu has urged Muslim Ummah to observe the Ramadan fast according to the teaching of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Sharehu gave the advice during the weekly learning and teaching of Islamic knowledge held in kakaki Zaria city.

Professor Aminu Ladan explained that Muslims should have the knowledgeable of how to observe fasting so as to attract Allah’s rewards.

The Mutawale of Zazzau stressed there was the need for Muslims to obey the Sultanate pronouncement of moon sighting to mark the begining and end of Ramadan fast.

He commended the Sultanate council for posterity unity among Muslims Ummah.

He urged Islamic scholars to desist from misleading their followers during and after the Ramadan.

Professor Amimu ladan called on the Muslim Ummah to pray for peace and also seek Allah’s intervention to end the security challenges across the country.

He stressed the need for wealthy individuals to assist the needy and orphans within their communities.

The Mutawale charged Muslims Ummah to put what they learnt into practice to serve as a lesson t the iyounger generations.

The weekly teaching was organized to educate Muslims on how to worship Allah according to the teaching of Qur’an and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ( PBUH)
