Gov Idris commissions Jumuat Mosque in Argungu

A new Jumuat Mosque constructed by Alhaji Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, Jarman Kabi, former Deputy Governor and the National Organising Secretary of APC was commissioned by Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu on Friday.

The official commissioning of the Mosque named after Dr. Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu , ‘ Masallacin Sulaiman Muhammad ( Jarman Kabi), attracted important dignitaries like the Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence, Alhaji Saad Abubakar, the Emir of Argungu, Alhaji Samaila Muhammad Mera, the National Chairman of APC, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the leader of Izala sect , Sheikh Bala Lau and a host of others.

Goodwill messages were delivered by the Sultan, Alhaji Saad Abubakar, Emir of Argungu, Alhaji Samaila Muhammad Mera while Sheikh Bala Lau and other Islamic clerics offered prayers, describing the gesture of Alhaji Suleiman Muhammad Argungu as noble and commendable .

” Allah promised to build a house in Aljanna for any person who constructs a Mosque in Duniya for the sake of God,” he preached.

In another development , the Governor and his entourage attended the wedding fatiha of Alhaji Ahmad Bawa with Firdaus Manir in Jega town.

After the solemnisation of the marriage by Islamic scholars, N200,000 was paid as dowry by the family of the bridegroom.

The bride is the daughter of Engr. Manir Musa Jega, the CEO of M-Tech Concept Engineering and Construction Company.
