Zamfara state chapter of the Nigeria Union of journalists (NUJ) has condoled with Zamfara state government over the demise of PDP chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Malllaha who died last Monday.
The union further requested Governor Matawalle to immortalize the late Alhaji Ibrahim Mallaha for the benefit of posterity.
In a condolence message to the state Governor, the Union’s chairman, Comrade Abdurrazak Bello kaura said, “It is with heavy heart, but with total submission to the will of Allah (SWT), that I, on behalf of all Members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Zamfara State council, extend the Union’s heart felt condolence to your humble self, entire family of the deceased, members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and the good people of Zamfara State, over the demise of the State PDP Chairman, Alh. Ibrahim Mallaha Gusau, which sad event occurred on Monday, October 12, 2020”.
“Indeed, Alh. Ibrahim Mallaha Gusau, died when his wise counsels would be more cherished. But Alhamdulillah as he lived a life worthy of commendation and emulation, which will certainly console us all”.
“I make bold to say that we, the journalists in the State have enjoyed a good working relationship with late Ibrahim Mallaha. In all the interactions we had, he was found to be generous, resilient, amiable, tolerant and a down-to-earth personality and committed leader, who led by example’.
“While the family of the deceased is the primary mourner, the government and good people of Zamfara State have also lost a rare gem”.
The union prayed to forgive the late PDP chairman, grant him with the most exalted paradise, and his family the fortitude to bear the monumental loss. Amin.
