Zamfara CP, Commissioner on security begin tour of formations, traditional rulers, stakeholders

In their determination to ensure robust synergy  with critical stakeholders, the Zamfara state Commissioner of Police CP Abutu Yaro and the Commissioner for Security and Home Affairs, Alhaji Abubakar Mohammed Dauran have  commenced familiarisation tour to Divisions and formations as well as courtesy calls on Royal Highnesses in Anka and Bukkuyum LGAs.

This was stated in a press release issued to newsmen today by the spokesperson of the State Police Command, SP Mohammed Shehu.

During the Visit, the Commissioner of Police addressed Officers and men of the two  Divisions including the newly recruited and trained special Constables.

He also held an interactive session with Fulani leaders, where he appealed for their support and cooperation in advancing the ongoing peace process in the State. 

The Commissioner for Security and Home Affairs, Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar Dauran in his remarks called on the fulani and Hausa Community leaders of the two (2) LGAs as well as the Security Agencies to work in support of the State Government efforts to achieve  lasting peace in the State. 

He further assured that the government is doing its best to improve their welfare. 

In their responses, the Emirs of Anka and Bukkuyum pledged their support to State Government and Commissioner of Police towards the success of the ongoing peace and reconciliation initiative.
