Bandits have kidnapped seven children of an APC chairman of Kabiru Marafa’s faction in Maru local government area in Zamfara state, Alhaji Sani Gyare Kadauri.
Explaining the ordeal in a telephone conversation, Gyare said, “The bandits went to my village on motorcycles on the early hours of today Friday while I was away to Gusau town the state capital”
“Immediately they arrived the village, they went straight to my house and kidnapped my six children”.
Gyare also stated that the bandits moved to his friend’s house Alhaji Sani Yellow where they kidnapped his daughter Amina Sani Yellow”.
He stressed that the bandits have been attacking the village due to non presence of security agents.
He appealed to the federal government to deploy security personnel to safeguard the lives and property of the people in the area.
Efforts to get comments from the police has failed as the spokesperson of the command SP Mohammed Shehu could not be reached on phone at the time of filing in this report.
