In its efforts to address the insecurity challenges in the state, the Zamfara State Police Command under the leadership of CP Abutu Yaro has created ten additional Police Outstations in different parts of the State.
This was revealed by the spokesperson of the Command, SP Mohammed Shehu in a press release issued to newsmen today.
Shehu said, “The Police Commissioner has also deployed Tactical and Conventional Police Personnel to the newly created Out Stations in order to promptly respond to distress calls and provide effective and efficient Security Services to the Communities so that members of the Public can have confidence to go about their legitimate business”.
The newly created Outstations according to SP Shehu Are; Hayin Danhausa in Gusau LGA, Yandoto and Bilbis inTsafe LGA, Aljumma Hausawa and Janbako in Maradun LGA, Tashar Rogo and Bobo in Talata-mafara LGA, Mayanchi in Maru LGA, Amumo in Bakura LGA and Gambanda in Gummi LGA
While deploying the Police Personnel to the new Outstations, the Police Commissioner Charged them to be responsive, Professional and work in collaboration with the host communities.
On the other hand he urged the benefiting Communities to symbiotically embed the Police into the communities with required logistics and the needed support to function optimally.
He assured members of the Public that more of such initiatives were underway to ensure villages and communities that are far away from security emplacement are brought closer through the ongoing Police Village Patrol initiative.
CP Abutu warned the recalcitrant elements to renounce banditry and turn to a new life and also appealed to all and sundry to continue to synergize with the Police and other Security agencies in the State by providing credible and timely information on Criminal activities for quick response.
