Zamfara State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency has organised a one-day capacity building/ training for MDAS staff officers.
The theme of the training was “the Role of staff officers for the Enhancement of effective service delivery under the state contributory healthcare scheme and was held at UBE centre in Gusau, Zamfara state Capital.
Speaking at the occasion the executive secretary of ZAMCHEMA Dr, Yusuf Abubakar said that, the training was part of the state Government’s effort to provide healthcare delivery in the state, adding that, the staff officers have a vital role to play in ensuring the success of ZAMCHEMA.
Dr, Yusuf Abubakar Explained that, the participants were 150 in number, calling on them to adhere strictly on what they have learnt during the training,
In his remarks the Chairman Nigeria labour Congress/ Chairman health workers, Dr, Sani Halliru appealed to the civil servants in the state, to participate fully in the program considering the importance of healthcare to the society.
The NLC chairman assured that, he would everything possible to assist ZAMCHEMA to achieve the desired results.
Also speaking, the state Head of Service, Alhaji kabir balarabe (Sardaunan Dan Isah), who was represented by the parmanent Secretary, Esterblishement, Alhaji Aliyu Altine shinkafi, commanded the ZAMCHEMA, for organizing the training, stressing that, no society would develop without training andre – training.
He maintained that the state government give full support and co-operation for ZAMCHEMA to success.
In his addressed the Commissioner of health, Alhaji Yahaya Muhammad Kanoma said that, state government has done a lot to civil servants in the state especially in the healthcare delivery.
Alhaji Yahaya thanked the Head of Service, the NLC and the establishment, for their efforts toward the success of ZAMCHEMA, calling on them to keep it up.
