Police in Katsina state have arrested a 25 year old man, Musa Shamsudeen for allegedly treating bandits with gunshots injuries.
This was revealed by the spokesperson of the Katsina state police Command, SP Gambo Isah in a statement issued to newsmen in Katsina.
SP Isah said Shamsudeen was arrested in one of the communities in Kankara local government area.
According to Isah, the suspect had been on their wanted list since after abduction of the 344 students of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara in December last year.
Isah said, “Shamsudeen disappeared from the Kankara community shortly after the abduction of the pupils of Government Science Secondary School and he only returned to the community recently”.
“But based on a tip-off, we were able to pick him up”.
