The first civilian Governor of Zamfara state, Ahmed Sani Yariman Bakura has said that, former Governor Abdul Aziz Yari is not a member of APC unless he revalidates his membership card.
Speaking at the swearing in ceremony of the new executive members of the party in Gusau on Saturday, Yarima said, Yari has vehemently refused to revalidate his membership card due to ignorance, as such has siezed to be a member of the party.
“Let me use this opportunity to inform all those who are yet to make fresh registration to please do so if he or she wishes to remain in APC”.
In his speech, Governor Bello Matawalle reaffirmed that, there was no faction within the party in the state.
Matawalle therefore advised those who have been calling themselves as factional leaders to come back and join him in his efforts to build the party for it to succeed in 2023 general elections.
