Stop Attacking Bakyasuwa In Your Own Interest— APC National Rescue Mission Warns Yusuf Idris

The National Rescue Mission of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has warned the Publicity Secretary of Zamfara state APC under Governor Bello Matawalle, Malam Yusuf Idris to stop attacking its National President, Hon Bello Bakyaauwa.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary of the group, Bashir K. Lado and made available to newsmen in Gusau.

Lado said, said Bakyasuwa  has served the people of Nigeria in various capacities and as such he needed to be treated with accolade and respect.

He warned  Yusuf Idris Gusau to desist from personalizing issues with their national president Bello Bakyasuwa Maradun who doubled as the Spokesperson of Sen. Kabiru Garba Marafa.

The group warned Yusuf to be more professional and avoid personalizing things, especially with the recent scenario that characterized his recent utterances in the press release he issued.

The statement added that, Yusuf Idris Gusau was nowhere when the group leader Bello Bakyasuwa served the country as Nigeria soldier, adding that the status of Bakyasuwa cannot match that of Yusuf in all ramifications.

It added that, Bakyasuwa’s comment about accusations on Ali Gusau was done in the spirit of being fair to both parties but added that Mr. Idris went too personal to castigate Bakyasuwa for asking people like Yusuf Idris to be morally reserved about Gen. Aliyu Gusau (rtd).

On the recent allegation by Mr. Idris that Sen. Marafa is planning to defect to PDP, Bakyasuwa said, Sen. Marafa is a genuine member of the APC and has no plan whatsoever to defect to any party.

The statement added further that, the two issues raised by Bakyasuwa in his initial release are yet to be addressed by Yusuf Idris, and instead he resorted to be using the descriptions of “people like Bakyasuwa” which to the group is unethical of an information manager.

He said his response to the initial writing of  Yusuf Idris was to put things in clarity as he insisted that APC is divided into three factions namely that of Sen. Marafa, Yari and Bello Matawalle faction noting that nothing would change that perspective for now.

The group therefore cautioned Yusuf to mind his business and face his job as Publicity Secretary of Governor Matawalle’s APC faction and let sleeping dogs lie.
