Jamaatu Izalatul Bidi’a Waikamatul Sunnah has called on Traditional leaders to intervene in the Federal government and ASSU crisis to resolve the lingering university strike across the country.
Vice chairman (1 ) National council of Ulama’u of Izala Jos Sheikh Yusuf Sambo Rigacikun made the call during the commissioning of schools in Zaria.
Sheikh Rigacikun explained that traditional leaders can intervene to resolve the ASSU strike for the benefit of Nigerian students.
He maintained that during late SANI Abacha’s administration the Sultanate council intervened in ASUU strike between Professor Attahiru Jega and Federal government and it produced positive result.
He stressed the need for Emir of Zazzau MAL Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli to take necessary step to solve the lingering university strike across the country.
Responding the Emir of Zazzau MAL Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli expressed sadness over the strike and promised to intervene to resolved the issue.
The Emir said ASUU strike has caused serious set back to students that are studying in different universities in the nation.
Earlier the chairman Izala Kaduna state Professor Nuhu Tahir Tajudeen explained that the new school was constructed to accommodate series of Islamic programs and activities.
The founder and Chief Executive An-Nadaa Educational foundation Dr Ibrahim Mu’azzam Tahir said the foundition is a non profit organization that only supports the propagation of Islam and humanitarian activities.
Dr. Ibrahim added that the foundation has constructed one hundred and ten boreholes, building hospitals across Zaria and some areas in katsina and Kano states.
He said the foundation is also supporting Daawa, and distribution of rams and cattles during Sallah festivities as well as Ramadan feeding from 2016 to date that consumed over one hundred million naira.
Emir of Zazzau MAL Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli who commissioned the mosque and school also led the Zuhur prayer in the mosque.
