Gov Idris urges well-to-do individuals to establish businesses for job opportunities

The Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, has appealed to well-to-do individuals in the society to imbibe the habit of establishing businesses to create job opportunities for people.

In a statement, the spokesperson of the Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Idris said kauran Gwandu made the plea while declaring open a modern food palace, “Mystic Grills Restaurant and Cityview Lounge” in Birnin Kebbi on Wednesday.

The Governor said: “This administration encourages people to establish businesses so that they can employ people to reduce the rate of unemployment.

“This will not only create job opportunities for the people but it will also give the employed persons the chance to become self-reliant.

“Therefore, my administration is ready to support anybody willing to establish business.”

While commending the proprietor of the restaurant for giving job to teeming youths, the governor advised other well meaning individuals in the society to borrow a leave.

The modern restaurant was initiated and constructed by Hon. Shafi’u Abubakar-Zauro, Special Adviser to Gov. Idris on Special Duties.
