The former Zamfara state Deputy Governor during the administration of former Governor Yari, Malam Wakkala Mohammed has finally left APC and decamped to the Peoples Democratic party (PDP).

Addressing journalists in Gusau today, Malam Wakkala said he dumped APC for PDP after due consultants with his political associates.

“As you are all aware, our party APC has for long been in serious crisis more especially here in Zamfara state which has led to our disqualification by INEC during the 2019 general elections and finally lost all elective offices to the PDP”.
“Since that time, the APC in Zamfara has been factionalized and I chose to be in G8 group and today, I wish to formerly let my supporters to know that I have joined the PDP”.

He stressed that thousands of his supporters have also joined him to the PDP in the state.
Recalled that, Malam Wakkala was at logger head with his former boss Alhaji Abdul Aziz Yari since 2018 as a result of Yari’s refusal to choose him as his successor.
