A Senator, representing Zamfara Central Zone at the National Assembly, Senator Hassan Muhammad Nasiha, has earmarked the sum of N200m for the construction of 1.8 kilometer Ring road at Federal Medical Centre Gusau.
Senator Hassan Muhammad Nasiha disclosed this during a official flagg off of the Ring road held at federal Medical centre promises.
Senator Nasiha, said that, construction of ring road was part of his assistance to the people of his constituency, and people of the state, assuring that, it would be a continuous process.
He explained that, the construction of the ring road would provide easy movement of pregnant women and patients to reach the doctors.
He maintained that patients suffer a lot during the rainy season considering each and every raining seasons as a result of poor condition of theroad.
He called on management of the hospital to utilize the project.
He commended the state government for its effort to the health care delivery and assured that he would partner/collaborate with the state government for the success of health care delivery in the state.
He thanked the Management of the Federal Medical Center for their support cooperation, and assistance to the success of the hospital, calling on them to maintain the tempo.
In his speech the Medical Director of the hospital, Dr. Bello Muhammad Kwatarkwashi, expressed happiness over the construction of the road adding that, they were suffered a lot due to the delapidated nature of the road more especially during the raining season.
Dr, bello commanded Senator Nasiha for the construction of the road, calling on state government, Politians and wealthy individuals to emulate him.
Also speaking, the contractor handling the project Sky Trust, Alhaji Samaila Aliyu, assured to complete the project withinthree weeks, ensuring that, to ensure quality job.
In their separate speeches, the state chairman PDP, Zonal vice Chairman, and Sole administrator Gusau local Government, Alhaji Tukur Danfulani Maikatako, Hajiya Ai Maradun, and Alhaji Sanusi Muhammad Sarki, Commended the senator for the construction, and prayed Allah to reward him aboudently, calling on Politician, Wealthy individuals, to emulate thes enator.
In his speech, the Deputy Speaker of the State Assembly, Hon Musa Bawa Musa, assured that h would assist the hospital indviouly and collectively.
In his remarks, the state Commissioner of health, Alhaji Yahaya Muhammad Kanoma, thanked the Senator for the gesture, calling on him to construct a School of Health for the benefit of the people of the state.
