One of the Aides to Senator Aliyu Magatagarda Wamakko, Alhaji Abba Gidan Haki, who was abducted was found dead.
Alhaji Abba was abducted by unknown gunmen on Thursday in Sokoto and was later found dead on Durbawa road in Kware local government area of the state.
He has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
The funeral prayer was led by the Chief Imam of the Sheikh Uthman Bin Fodiyo Juma’at Mosque, Sokoto, Sheikh Abubakar Shehu Na Liman.
His funeral prayer was attended by Senator Aliyu Magatagarda Wamakko, the Minister of Police Affairs, Alhaji Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi; the state acting Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Alhaji Isa Achida; traditional rulers, members of the national and state assemblies as well as thousands of sympathisers.
Aged 50, Alhaji Abba is isurvived by a wife and five children.
