Former Federal lawmaker and a Chieftain of All Progressives Congress in Zamfara,  Abdul Malik Zubairu Zannan Bungudu has described the recent petition filed against Zamfara former Governor Abdulazeez Yari Abubakar and other APC members by Sani Abdullahi Wamban Shinkafi as mischievous and deliberate attempt to continue to fool Governor Bello Matawalle.

Zannan Bungudu in an interview with newsmen on Sunday said it was laughable that, the same Shinkafi who called the sitting Governor names during the 2015 general elections is now coming in the public to tell the other side of the story about Matawalle  simply because he has turned his political attitude into a money making venture.

Hon Abdulmalik Zubairu Zannan Bungudu

“Same Wamban Shinkafi went public to call Governor Matawalle all sorts of names via video that went viral during 2015 campaign, he accused him of diverting funds meant for procurement of weapons, and yet he is now telling a different story about Matawalle and insulting others just to please the Governor over what he has done to him in the past”.

“In that same viral video, Wambai threatened to drag EFCC to court if it failed to probe Governor Matawalle for corruption, and yet he has turned his eyes toward Abdulazeez Yari the former Governor”.

“Same Sani Shinkafi accused Matawalle of not having genuine SSCE result and embarrassed the Governor before the whole world, yet Matawalle is politically romancing this type of politician, Wamban Shinkafi”.

“Unless he is able to tell the public what has changed over his description of Matawalle in the same viral video, nobody would take him serious”.

“Governor Matawalle should be extra careful, this same Shinkafi would continue to hit him with political hammer after he leaves office because this is his political attitude and his own ways of making money by insulting and reigning abusive words and raising baseless allegations against personalities who have been to power.
