The Zonal Commander of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in charge of Zone M which comprises Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara, Sammani Mohammed Inuwa has reiterated that, the welfare of staff was the top most priority of the command.
Addressing the officers and men of the Zamfara state Command, Inuwa stressed that, the command would not relent efforts in ensuring that the staff welfare was properly taken care of.
As part of its commitment, the Zonal Commander assured that the payment of all outstanding arrears would soon be paid to the staff.
He therefore called on the staff to redouble efforts in the discharge of their duty, warning that, the command would not tolerate any act of indicipline.
He commended the Zamfara state Command for establishing women response unit which is first of its kind in the zone.
In his response, the Zamfara State Commandant, Mr. Akushie Athanasius told the Zonal Commander that, they were ever ready to effectively discharge their duties especially the fight against bandits’ activities.
Mr. Athanasius thanked the Zamfara State Government for the assistance it has been rendering to the command.
