n an effort to get rid of the bad eggs among its members, the Zamfara State chapter of the Cattle Sellers Association has assured to work under the rules and regulations introduced by the state government through the introduction of licence and registration of its members.
This was disclosed by the state chairman of the association, Comrade Aminu Garba Gusau, shortly after a meeting with 14 local Government chairmen of the association, held in Gusau the state capital.
Comrade Aminu maintained that, the creation of both the register and the licence would in no small measure assist in detecting the removing all bad eggs in the association.
He maintained that, state government has adopted the measure aimed at tackling the insecurity challenges in the state.
Comared Aminu Garba, warned all 14 local government chairmen of cattle sellers association, to direct their members to desist from buying and selling of cattle that were brought to market without proper documentation.
He assured that, the association would comply with all the measures introduced by the state government in order to fight against banditry.
He stressed that there was an ardent need for the people of state to continue praying for peace and stability in the state.
He also called on the Ulamas in the state to organize a special prayers for Allah’s intervention and protection against banditry.
