Late Aliyu Abubakar finally laid to rest

The remains of late Aliyu Abubakar Sokoto, known as Aliyu Sokoto  who died at Barau Dikko Hospital Kaduna has finally been laid to rest.

His funeral prayer was conducted by Sheikh Dr Ahmed Gummi at Late Shiekh Abubakar Mahmud Gummi’s residence in Kaduna.

Prominent personalities who attended his funeral prayer included Senator Ahmed Mohd Makarfi, former Governor of Kaduna state, Shiekh Dr Ahmed Gummi, and Sheikh Yusuf Sambo Rigachikun, 

Others were, Professor Mansur Sokoto, Brigadier General Abdul’azeez Abubakar Gummi, Hon Engr Suleiman Gummi (NASS) and many respected Islamic Scholars, business community, politicians, journalists and civil servants from different places.

Born in 1966, late Aliyu Abubakar was married with four children. 

Before his death, he was a business entrepreneur and very close to Late Shiekh Abubakar Mahmud Gummi of the blessed memory.

In an appreciation message, the deceased’s  immediate brother,  Hon Yusuf Dingyadi, who is a Senior Special Assistant to Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal thanked all those who have attended the funeral prayer of the deceased and wished them Allah’s reward.

Hon Dingyadi also thanked all those who have consoled with the family of the deceased either physically or through messages and prayed to Allah to reward them abundantly.
