The Kebbi State College of Health Sience and Technology Jega will soon introduce degree and high diploma programmes.
This was made known by the Provost of the College, Malam Sa’adu Haruna Sauwa while answering questions from newsmen on the activities of his institution in Jega town recently.
He said “the National Board of Technical Education has approved some courses for the college and as well NBTE incollaboration with some reputable Universities would soon introduce degree and high diploma programmes for the college”.
He described College as the best amongst it’s sister institutions accross the country in terms of academic performances and discipline.
He said the institution has placed discipline and hard-working as it’s watch words for both staff and students while academic performance like every other institution of learning, has been inculcated in rating students as pavement before graduation.
According to him “we hold academic performance as the first yardstick before graduation certificate are issued, somebody who will be trained to handle human life must definitely be given the best out of the learning processes”
“So we produce only qualified health personnel in this institution we don’t compromise”.
He added that those were the reasons why the institution for the past couple of graduation years scored over 90 percent in academic performance.
He attributed the entire success to the much care given to the college by the Executive Governor Senator Atlku Abubakar Bagudu led administration.
Sauwa further disclosed that “frankly speaking, as am talking to you the institution has received tremendous developments that provides enabling environment for both staff and students, therefore, who much is given much is expected of him”
He noted that the total renovations and overhauling of broken down utility vehicles is currently undertaken in order to give the institution a facelift.
