Zamfara State APC Chairman, Alhaji Tukur Umar Danfulani Maikatako hasalled on Social Media handlers to always balance their stories before publishing. The Chairman made the calle during a two days Seminar/ award presentation organised by the Belmat Media Chart (BMC) who was represented by the APC State Secretary Gado Sonny held at Universal Basic Education Training Centre bye pass Gusau.
Alhaji Danfulani said that, the call became imperative considering that, some of the social media handlers used to create problems among the people as a result of their unbalanced reports.
Danfulani described the social media as a tool of communication, and commended the Social Media handlers for their support, cooperation to the present administration of Governor Bello Mattawale.
He noted that, Social media has contributed much to the development of the state, calling on them to keep it up.
He gave a cash donation of N200.000 while the secretary also presented N50.000 to the Belmat Media Chart.
In their Sprate Speeches, the Chairman and Secretary of Belmat Media Chart, Malan Billiya Makama, and Malan Najib Alzamfari, Explained that, the essence of the seminar was to organise them self and provide ways to develop their work, also to continue supporting Governor Matawalle for 2023 General Election,
They Explained that, the Belmat Media Chart has achieved a lot especially in the area of paying registration fees to students of ZACAS and beyond, assuring that it would continue.
They assured to support Governor Matawalle for the 2023 general elections so that he would emerge as the winner.
They also called on Belmat Media Chart members to remain united for them to achieve their goals
In his speech Dr, Anas Sale of department of mass communication Abdu Gusau polytechnic, described the social media as a welcome development worldwide.
He said, through the Social Media, people gained access to information without any delaying, calling on the social media handlers always to balance their stories before posting them.
In their separate speeches, the DG Maintainance Government House, Zigda, Zapa, Zagis, Alhaji Abba Dan Madan, Alhaji Yahaya Tambari and Alhaji Ubaidu, expressed satisfaction with the seminar, calling on Belmat Media Chart members to adhere strictly to what they would learn during the Seminar.
