Kubau LG Partners With NDLEA In Fighting Drug Trafficking, Related Offences

Kubau local government council is to partner with National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA to flight drugs trafficking and related offences.

Executive chairman of Kubau local government Alhaji Bashir Suleiman Zuntu stated this during a courtesy visit to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) chairman Retired brigadier General Buba Marwa in Abuja.

Alhaji Bashir Sulaiman Zuntu while Acknowledging the menace of drug trafficking said it remained a grievous crime and threat to human lives and development.

He urged the agency to engage the youths constructively, through sensitization and awareness campaigns that would proactively stem the menace of drug abuse in the area.

Chairman National Drugs law Enforcement Agency retired brigedier General Buba Marwa pledge to embark on sensitization campaign in Kubau local government to educate the people on the dangers of drug abuse and trafficking in the area.

Buba Marwa explained that the the agency has an open door policy to collaborate with any authority to fight drugs abuse and trafficking.
