Fire outbreak has on Friday razed down Sa,adatu Musa Total Child Academy, a leading primary school in Talata Mafara, Zamfara state.
Narrating the ordeal to newsmen, the Proprietor of the school, Dr. Rabi Musa said the cause of the fire incident was yet to be ascertained.
It was however reported that it occurred about 12:30 in the night when the school was closed for the day.
“Dr. Rabi said, “The cause of the fire is not known”.
“It was on Friday January 28 around 12:30 in the night which was after the normal school hours, and the school had already successfully closed”.
“Only Allah SWT knows how it happened”. Concluded Dr. Rabi.
The outbreak had consumed nine classes, three offices and three latrines among other structures of the school affected.
In his reaction, one of the parents of the pupils has expressed shock over the incident, describing it as a great set back to the educational development of their children and that of the immediate community.
The concerned parent who preferred anonymity, called on government and wealthy individuals to as a matter of urgency, assist the school management in the interest of education development of the area.
