APC Chieftain gives scholarship to 120 Zamfara indigenes to study abroad

A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Zamfara State under former Governor Yari-led faction, Dr. Dauda Lawal Dare, has given scholarship to 120  indigenes of Zamfara state to study various disciplines in the Republic of Togo.

Addressing the beneficiaries at a colorful ceremony held at the Command’s Guest Inn Gusau on Sunday, the Chairman of the Yari led APC faction, Hon Lawal M Liman lauded the efforts of Dr. Dauda Lawal Dare Gamjin Gusau for sponsoring 120 students to study abroad.

“I really appreciate the patriotic and philanthropic intervention of the sponsor in such important area of human development and prayed Allah to reward him”.

He called on the beneficiaries to be good ambassadors of the state while in the Republic of Togo.

The chairman further maintained that, the APC under the Leadership of Former Zamfara State Governor, Abdulaziz  would restore the state’s lost glory if again given the chance by the electorates in 2023.

M. Liman said Yari had performed wonderfully during his eight-year rule as a result of his good manifesto which he planned in 2009, stressing that, the same gesture would return to the state in 2023.

He lamented the current state of affairs in almost all the sectors of human endeavors in Zamfara State.
