Abuja-Kaduna train attack: Zamfara APC chairman commisserates with former dep gov, others

The Zamfara state chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Alhaji Tukur Umar Danfulani has commiserated with the former Deputy Governor of the state, Malam Ibrahim Wakkala on the injuries he sustained as a result of Abuja-Kaduna train attack.

In a press release, the spokesperson of the party, Yusuf Idris said, the chairman has sympathized with Wakkala and other victims of Monday’s unfortunate train attack by bandits while on their way from Abuja to Kaduna.

“The chairman particularly consoled Zamfara APC Chieftain and former Deputy Governor, Mallam Ibrahim Wakkala Muhammad (Sarkin Malamman Gusau) who was shot in the leg by the miscreants”.

“The chairman wishes his Excellency a quick recovery as he recuperates after undergoing a surgery to remove the bullet”. 

Danfulani also saluted the courage of the Nigerian Military for moving in time to save the situation and encouraged them to intensify effort at not only recuing those abducted during the attack but dealing appropriately with the bandits.

He prayed Allah to bring an end to all forms of criminality bedeviling the country and urged Nigerians to continue to pray for the good survival of the nation while raising immediate alarm against all suspicious movements.

Already, the Zamfara APC Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Yusuf Idris Gusau who was an aide to the former Deputy Governor has personally visited him in the hospital and prayed for his quick recovery.
