Northwest APC Leadership Embarks On Reconciliation Process With Aggrieved Members

The APC National Vice Chairman Chairman in charge of Northwest zone, Hon. Lukman Salisu said, the Zonal leadership of the party would soon embark on reconciliation process with all the aggrieved members of the party within the zone.

This was contained in statement signed by the Zonal Publicity Secretary of the party, Malam Musa Mailafiya Mada and made available to newsmen in Gusau on Thursday

Speaking during the inaugural meeting of the newly elected zonal officials of the party, Hon. Lukman said there was the need for reconciliation where there was disagreement between members and stakeholders of the party in any of the seven states of the zone.

Hon Salisu said, “even though Northwest is the APC stronghold in the country, the reconciliation between the aggrieved members will make the party more formidable in the region”.

The Chairman went further to disclose that ‘Very soon the Zonal leadership of the party will embark on reconciliation process with all the aggrieved members of the party within the zone”.

“You know as leaders, one of our major responsibility is to strengthen and reposition the party and that couldn’t be achieved without unity”.

“As we all know, not only in politics in any organisation there must be agreement and disagreement, therefore the APC as a party, we give emphasis on unity, peace and stability”.

He called on APC leadership in the seven states of the zone to embrace, diolugue and reconciliation and always be fair to all members of the party.

Hon. Salihu also called on muslims to use Ramadan period and pray for peace and stability in the zone and country as a whole.

“I urged our party members and all residents to continue to pray for the present administration in the country under president Muhammad Buhari to succeed”.
