The Zamfara state Commissioner of Police, CP Ayuba N. Elkanah wishes fecilitated with the Muslim Ummah, especially the good people of Zamfara State on this year’s Eid – El-Ftr Sallah Celebration.
This was contained in a statement signed by the spokesperson of the state police command SP Mohammed Shehu and made available to newsmen on Saturday.
In the statement, Elkana assured that, adequate Security Arrangement has been put in place to ensure hitch free celebration before, during and after the period.
The commissioner said the police command would partner with other sister security agencies, teligious and Community leaders to avert any unwarranted incident and also safeguard lives and property in all the 14 Local Government Areas of the state.
Among the crime prevention strategies adopted were rigorous patrol, stop and search and Joint show of Force to cover vulnerable locations, especially Eid – el praying grounds, recreation centres, Highways, parks and other public places across the State.
The Commissioner called for continous collaboration among security agencies and the host communities to achieve this mandate.
He enjoined the people of the state to give adequate information to the security agents on activities of criminal elements for quick response.
