A former Federal Lawmaker for Maru/Bungudu Federal constituency in Zamfara state, Honourable Abdulmalik Zubairu (Zannan Bungudu) said he would continue with the good work he had started if elected again to representing the people of his constituency at the national Assembly.
Zubairu who contested along with two contestants and won the National Assembly primary election for Maru/Bungudu Federal constituency said, he would continue from where he stopped during his first tenure at the national Assembly from 2015 to 2019 if elected again in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
He maitained that, he would give priority attention to security, education and welfare of his people.
“If elected in 2023, I will do my very best to protect the interest of my people, particularly in the area of security, education and welfare”.
He commended the delegates who elected him at the primary election and promised that he would not let them down.
He also thanked Governor Bello Mattawalle, former Governor Abdul Aziz Yari and Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa for the reconciliation process, calling on all APC supporters to bury their differences for the success of the party.
Zanna also called on those who have contested along with him and failed to understand that it was an act of God.
“I want to appeal to those who contested along with me to understand that, this is how Allah wants it to happen”.
“They should realize that, tomorrow is another day and one of them can be in my position”.
“I want them to give me all the support and encouragement so that together we will make our party victorious in the forthcoming 2023 general elections”.
