People in the state have been advised to use the remaining two weeks extension for the INEC’s continuous voter registration exercise to obtain or update their permanent voters cards before the suspension of the exercise comes 31st July, 2022.

This is contained in a statement issued by the Chairman Zamfara State Continuous Voter Registration and Mobilization Committee and Speaker State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Nasiru Mu’azu Magarya (Jarman Moriki) while commenting on the INEC’S extension of the exercise.

Hon. Magarya who spoke through the committee secretary, Hon. Lawal M. Liman Gabdon Kaura said the two weeks’ extension remains a great opportunity for those who are yet to obtain or update their PVC, hence the need to act in earnest.

Gabdon Kaura further called on the local government committees to liaise with all relevant stakeholders in an effort to realize the set goals of registering all eligible persons in the state.

He commented Governor Bello Muhammad (Matawallen Maradun) for granting a work-free-week to enable civil and public servants partake in the exercise. For you to exercise your fundamental roles and constitutional rights, you need to have your permanent voters cards, he affirmed!
