The Zamfara state commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Hajiya Faika Mohammed has described the passage of a long-awaited Social Protection Bill as a giant effort towards all inclusive Social Development in Zamfara State.
Fa’ika Ahmed explained that the thorough legislative processes carried out before the passage of the bill into law assured the willingness of Zamfara State House Of Assembly Members in complementing the passion and efforts of Governor Dr. Bello Muhammad (Matawallen Maradun) in cushioning the hardship of vulnerable persons across the state.
The Commissioner acccording to Director Information of the ministry Malam Bashir Kabiru Ahmad made the commendation while reacting to the warmed welcome passage of the bill into law by Zamfara State House of Assembly led by the Speaker Right Honourable Nasiru Ma’azu Magarya.
The Commissioner affirmed that the Social Protection Programmes were multi-sectoral involving all the MDAs of social sector as coordinated by Zamfara State Ministry Of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development.
Hajiya Fa’ika expressed optimism that the bill will in no delay be assented by Governor Bello Muhammad (Matawallen Maradun) taking into cognisance of his continuous commitments towards better life for the people of Zamfara State.
Fa’ika Ahmad who applauded the Honourable Members of Zamfara State House of Assembly further appreciated the participation and support of the Save the Children International, other partners and Organisations who have been supportive to all the Social Protection Programmes in the state.
