GOVERNOR MATAWALLE UNCONDITIONALLY RESCUES KIDNAPPED POLICE OFFICER

Governor Bello Mattawalle of Zamfara state has facilitated the rescue of the officer incharge of Magami out Station in Gusau Local Government Area of Zamfara state from his kidnappers.

In a statement the Press Secretary to the Governor, Alhaji Jamilu Iliyasu Birnin Magaji said the police officer, DSP Usman Ali was kidnapped four days ago by recalcitrant bandits along Gusau Dansadau road.

Governor Bello Matawalle facilitated the rescue of the abducted police officer without payment of any form of Ransom, and the victim was presented to the Governor unhurt, hale and hearty.

The Governor expressed satisfaction with the measures put in place by his administration in rescue mission of all kidnapped victims in the state and in neighboring states.

While congratulating the abductee for regaining his freedom and returning to his family unhurt, the Governor prayed Almighty Allah to bring an end to banditry and other heinous crimes bedeviling the State.

In a vote of thanks, the police officer, DSP Usman Ali thanked Governor Bello Matawalle and all those who contributed in securing his freedom and prayed Almighty Allah to reward them abundantly.
