Gov Bagudu condoles with Bafarawa over death of step mother

Governor Atiku Bagudu of kebbi state was at the residence of the former Sokoto State Governor, Alhaji Attahiru Dalhatu Bafarawa, to condole with him over the death of his step mother, Hajiya Aishatu Dalhatu Bafarawa.

This was contained in a statement by the Special Adviser to Governor Atiku Bagudu on Media, Malam Yahaya Sarki and made available to Analyzer news on Thursday

Hajiya Aishatu Dalhatu Bafarawa died on Sunday after a protracted illness at the Usmanu Danfodio Teaching Hospital, Sokoto.

Governor Bagudu and his entourage prayed Allah to forgive the deceased, admit her into Aljannah Firdaus and give the family the fortitude to bear the lost.

Aged 70, the deceased is survived by 6 children and many grand children.

The Governor was accompanied by Deputy Speaker, Kebbi State House of Assembly, Hon. Muhammad Usman Ankwai Zuru , Alhaji Sahabi Lolo, Kebbi North, APC Zonal Vice Chairman,
Alhaji Haruna Maitandu, overseer Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, the State House of Assembly member representing Maiyama, Hon. Umaru Salah Sambawa, (Yuyu) and Alhaji Bello Dantani , Magajin Rafi Kabi ).

In a similar development, the Governor and his entourage were at the residence of Hon. Umar Bature to condole with him over the death of his mother, Hajiya Larai Bature, who died at the age of 88.

The deceased died at her residence following a protracted illness.

She is survived by 8 children .
