Zamfara state government has terminated the appointment of Kabiru Sahabi Liman as a Special Adviser due to incompetence.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the state government, Alhaji Kabiru Balarabe and made available to newsmen.
Balarabe said, the dismissed Special Adviser was found to be incompetent to undertake the responsibilities and public trust associated with his exalted office.
The statement reads as follows, ”This is to inform the general public that his Excellency Governor Bello Mattawalle has approved the termination of the appointment of Hon. Kabiru Sahabi Liman as a Special Adviser with immediate effect”.
“This follows a close monitoring exercise which revealed, amongst other things, that he is incompetent to undertake the responsibilities and public trust associated with the exalted position of a Special Adviser”.
“The monitoring exercise would be a continuous process aimed at reinvigorating public service delivery; ensuring public trust; and facilitating good governance in the State”.
All efforts to talk to the dismissed officer proved abortive, as he could not be reached on phone.
