I always wonder how cowards are given the responsibility of defending an Issue, if l have a master, a leader or an Issue on which public glare is focused, l believe l will always be ready, bold and committed to such cause without hiding my face or identity such as one faceless writer did in order to defend the disgrace his pay master, Dauda Lawal Dare faced having been summarily been withdrawn from the list of recipients of the 2022 National Merit Award.
If Dauda’s name hitherto claimed to be without blemish and was suddenly erased without explanation, then it goes to say a lot of negativities on the person and personality of this PDP Zamfara governorship candidate.
The writer who made efforts to urge us to concentrate on our political campaigns forgot that the embarrassment his boss caused has unforgivingly affected us as citizens of Zamfara and he should rather thought of writing an apology than the inappropriate defense.
They keep saying Dauda is on a business trip from one country to another trying to bring succour to the people of Zamfara but we are yet to see any of such outcomes, may be the deception will never end.
For the faceless writer to claim that Dauda’s name was removed because of politics rivalry, then how can he explain the same national award given to PDP vice presidential candidate, Okowa, or the one at the federal level won’t and can’t be a threat if doing so is a threat to the APC presidential candidate?
The writter is a bonehead, needs to be educated and told that Zamfara citizens deserve the truth of the matter that his pay master was removed because of corruption or his role in money laudanring case through the former Minister of Petroleum Resources Dieziani Alison Madueke with the case most likely hanging.
The faceless writer should know that APC in Zamfara State and our Governorship candidate, Governor Bello Mohammed are no match to the PDP in terms of supporters and the quality of candidate in all ramifications ranging from Experience, truthfulness to political exposures within and outside Zamfara State.
The name of Governor Matawalle is a popular name in Nigerian politics since 1995 when he ran for the National House of Representatives position under the then UNCP and won which I believe by then, the PDP candidate was perhaps just a green horn in his commercial banking career.
It is on record that Matawalle is more experienced, qualified and ahead of Dauda Lawal, Matawalle started as a classroom Teacher going through various Schools within Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara States and later transferred his service to the Federal Ministry of water resources till 1995 when he voluntary resigned and joined active politics during which time Mr. Dare was still trying to find his feet, while I am not sure if he also resigned voluntary or was sacked, l hope you will answer this in the general domain for public clarification.
Coming to politics, Matawalle is among the recognised national politicians who stood elections and for many times, his brief on his political timeline includes, being a Commissioner in over seven ministries in Zamfara State and three times member of the House of Representatives, representing Bakura/Maradu, and he chaired very sensitive committees including that of Intelligence and National Security and currently the governor of Zamfara State.
While Dauda Lawal is just an ordinary Commercial Bank Manager who was rapidly promoted to many levels because he is married to the daughter of the then First Bank Chairman, Elder Alhaji Umar Mutallab whom I believe he Dauda) may not have been listening to in the form of advice otherwise, he could not have been behaving as such.
However it is on record that Mr Dauda Lawal Dare is not the first Executive Director of First Bank, because somebody was there before him and his successor but none of them is being invited or got arrested by any of the nation’s anti-graft agecies except him and taken to the court on daily basis for alleged money laudanring and Corruption charges which the faceless writer also accidentally proved by attaching court documents showcasing his principal’s involved
Coming to the forthcoming 2023 General elections, the so called PDP Candidate who joined the PDP three days to the party’s Primary elections without waiver and currently battling his rivals at different courts is saying he is a threat to a more formidable and organised party like APC in Zamfara state let them finish with their party crises that bedeviled it first before we join issue with them.
APC is intact in Zamfara state and the only party to beat In Shaa Allah, as for Matawalle, his name is in gold already that no Zamfara history can ever be complete without his name especially in his efforts to make Zamfara what it is today.
