2023: Tinubu will sweep northwest zone —Senator Marafa

The Tinubu/Shattima campaign coordinator for Zamfara state, Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa has asserted that, Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu would surely gets 90 percent votes from the northwest zone in the forthcoming general elections.

Marafa made the assertion in Gusau the Zamfara state capital while addressing members of Tinubu/Shattima campaign committee in Government House Gusau.

He stressed that going by the wide support and popularity of the APC presidential candidate Ahmed Bola Tinubu the entire people of the zone would cast their votes for him in 2023 general elections.

“He has done wonderfully well when he served as the Governor of Lagos state, as such, the people of the northern zone have total confident in him that he will translate such record to the entire nation when he becomes the President”.

Mafara maintained that, Zamfara people would cast their votes for Tinubu in 2023 more than any other state in the federation.

“We will give more votes to Tinubu than the votes he will get in any other state. We will beat his home state, Lagos in terms of votes”.

Marafa explained that plans have been concluded to establish Tinubu campaign offices across the 14 local governments in all the 147 political wards in the state.

According to him, his committee has met with both political and non political groups such as religious organizations, students, community based organization, Farmers’ associations and several other groups with a view to sensitizing them to come out and vote for Bola Tinubu as the next president of the country.

He explained that the committee would go round in all the local governments to commission the offices and mobilize support for all the APC candidates in the state.

Marafa said the has been an APC state since the inception of democracy in 1999 to date, adding that, “Zamfara will not derail from its initial position of voting for APC across the board”.

He expressed optimism that with Governor Bello Matawalle as the Northwest Zonal coordinator of Tinubu for president, the entire votes of the electorates would surely go to Tinubu.
