The people of Zamfara North Senatorial zone have expressed satisfaction with the good representation of Senator Sahabi Ya,u Kaura, describing him as a gentle man who matches his promises with action.
Many people who converged during the flag off campaign of the Senator in Kaura-namoda on Sunday expressed satisfaction with the senator’s performance at the national assembly.
They pledged their continued support for him, adding that “He is a tested and trusted politician, who has ensured the progress of his constituency.
Speaking during the occasion, former Governor Mahmuda Aliyu Shinkafi said, Ya,u has fulfilled most of his campaign promises considering the developmental projects executed in the zone during his tenure.
“We are very happy with the performance of senatort Sahabi Senator Sahabi Ya,u”.
“He has tried his best for the people he represents at the national assembly in all sectors of human endeavor”.
“I am calling on the people of this zone to make sure that they vote for Senator Sahabi and all other APC candidates from Zamfara state”.
Also speaking, the former APC chairman, Alhaji Lawal M. Liman commended the people of the zone for their continued support to the party, calling on them to maintain the tempo.
Liman stressed that, APC was more stronger than ever before as a result of the reconciliation process between Governor Matawalle and former Governor Abdul Aziz Yari.
A former Senator, Alhaji Tijjani Yahaya Kaura urged APC supporters in the state to forget about their differences and elect all APC candidates from the Federal up to the state level.
Tijjani Yahaya said, Senator Sahabi Ya,u deserved commendation from the people of the zone.
He added that, he personally withdrew his intention to contest for a senator in order to pave way for Sahabi Ya,u to continue with the good work he has started.
In his response, Senator Ya,u re-afirmed his commitment to ensure good representation of his people at the national assembly, adding that, “I will do my best to protect the interest of my people at the national Assembly”.
“I will continue to help my people in whatever way possible so as to uplift their living standard”.
