A Non Governmental organization Called IBM& BROTHERS FOUNDATION has flagged off the distribution of clothing materials to orphan’s, Almajirai and other Vulnerable.
The flag off campaign was started at the Maradun Emir’s palace in Maradun town, the headquarters of Maradun local government area.
The clothing materials would be used to cover their body during hamattan period.
The chairman of the Foundation Ambassador Ahmad Dan-Wudil explained that the distribution of the items was part of the gesture of Ibrahim Bello Mohd Matawalle aimed at assisting people across the 19 Emirates of the state.
According to him a total of 400 people have so far benefitted from the gesture in Maradun Emirate while the remaining 18 Emirates will receive their own in due course.
He said, “We have so far given the assistance to 400 less privileged persons and we will proceed to other Emirates for the same gesture”.
However, Ambassador Ahmad Dan-Wudil thanked Ibrahim Bello Mohd Matawalle for his concern to the paople at the grass root.
“I want to use this medium to express my sincere thanks to the initiator of this program, Alhaji Ibrahim Bello Mattawalle”.
“I am assuring him that, we will do our best to make sure that only less privileged children will get the clothing materials”.
