Kaduna state Hisba Command has reiterated its determination to partner with conventional security operatives to tackle immoral attitudes across the state.
The Acting commandant Dr Abdulhadi Aliyu Daura stated this during the closing of two-day seminar for 750 Hisba officers from Sabon Gari local government command.
Dr. Aliyu explained that Hisba is one of the pillars of maintaining law and order within the communities.
He charged the Hisba officers to understand their duty stressing that they would be rewarded by Allah in the Here after.
In a message the Kano state Hisba Commandant Sheikh Muhammad Ibn Sina said his command was ready to partner with Kaduna state Hisba Command through exchanging of ideas , training and retraining of Hisba officers to achieve desired objectives.
Sheikh Ibni Sina represented by Assistant commandment General, Malam Idris Ibni Umar reminded Hisba officers that their reward is from Allah and charged them to discharge their duty with honesty.
Speaking earlier, the Hisba Commandant Sabon Gari local government area, Malam Abubakar Auwal Adams pointed out that about 500 Hisba male officers attended the seminar while 250 Hisba female officers attended the occasion.
In an addressed the chairman Sabon Gari local government council Engineer Muhammad Usman said the council legislators would soon enact a law that would give the activity of Hisba a legal backing.
Also speaking, a former secretary, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Sabon Gari local chapter St-Heart Ogu said the Christian communities would partner with Hisba to fight crimes and immoral attitudes in the area.
Some Hisba officers who spoke to newsman thanked Allah for giving them the wisdom and health to serve their communities.
