A former Senator for Zamfara Central Zone, Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa has commended Governor Bello Mattawalle for his effort in reconciling APC stalwarts in the state.

Marafa who spoke in Bungudu on Thursday during the party’s gubernatorial campaign said, Governor Matawalle deserved commendation because he was the main brain behind reconciliation of APC supporters who were hitherto in disarray.

“He (Matawalle) was the one who went from house to house to make sure that all the waring APC factions were reconciled for the progress and success of the party despite his position as a Governor”.

“Infact, I can say that, without his efforts, the APC would have been dead in Zamfara by now”.

Senator Marafa therefore advised the APC supporters to respect the reconciliation process and work for the progress of the party.

He warned those who were planning for anti party activities to be extra careful so as to avoid a repeat of what happened in 2019.

“As you can see, all those who matter in the APC like myself, Yarima, Mahmuda, Matawalle, Marafa and Sani Jaji are now one family and have agreed to work for the success of our great party”.

In his speech during the rally, Governor Bello Mattawalle thanked those who attended the occasion and reaffirmed his readiness to make the state a better place to leave if elected for the second time”.

Matawalle called on the people of the state to cast their votes for APC in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
