All eyes were glued to the unprecedented crowd of people that sent tongues wagging in Yola, Adamawa state and Damaturu in Yobe as the APC presidential campaign train bathed there yesterday and the day before.
While at it, Kano too, the same Kano that was literally shut down a week earlier, had gathered another mother of all rallies in Rano yesterday to launch the state campaign.
Reports have it that the number of people was such a crowd that it could rub shoulders with the one in Damaturu at least.
Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje was at hand, along with APC top echelon in Kano state to present the governorship and deputy governorship candidates to the people.
The Governor, who appeared elated with the gargantuan show of support by the people of Kano state, assured that the ticket at the state level will take the state to the next level of development if voted into office.
He explained that with the party controlling the centre and at the state level, Kano state will witness rapid economic development that will improve the lot of the everybody no matter his or her trade.
He congratulated the people of the state for the wise decision to boldly make a statement at the presidential campaign rally and at Rano.
