A palace guard working under Zazzau emirate in Kaduna stat, Samaila Abubakar Rimin Tsiwa has been dismissed for allegedly raping a woman.
The Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, has ordered for the immediate dismissal of the Palace Guard, (Dogari) from the Services to save the emirate from embarrassment.
In a press release from Media and Publicity office of the Emirate and signed by Abdullahi Aliyu Kwarbai, it was stated that a lady preparing for her wedding seeking for assistance from the Emirate approached the dismissed palace guard (Sama’ila), requesting him to allow her see the Emir.
The release added that, “Instead of doing that, Samaila lured the woman to a location with his friends where they gang-raped her.
“The Emirate council has directed the police to speed-up with their investigations and ensure prosecution of the culprits without any delay”.
“The council also promised to follow up with the case to ensure that justice was done to the lady”.
