The Tinubu/Shettima Grassroots Independent Campaign Council TSGICC has inaugurated Coordinators for all the 21 local government councils in Kebbi state.
The inauguration took place at the Council’s headquarters, Gwadangaji, Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi state on Friday.
A member of the Presidential Campaign Council PCC of the APC, Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed BK (Maibindiga) who stood in for the Director General of the Campaign Council in Kebbi state Alhaji Sa’idu Nasamu Dakingari as Special Guest of Honor and the Chairman of Sakaba Local Government Alhaji Dauda Mohammed who stood in for the Governor, backed by other personalities performed the inauguration.
In his speech shortly before the inauguration, Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed expressed the importance of grassroots mobilization and urged the Coordinators to work hard especially at this critical time when the elections are around the corner.
On his part, Alhaji Dauda Mohammed commended the leadership of the TSGICC for their commitment to the success of the APC at all levels and called on the Coordinators to see their appointment as a call to selfless service until victory is achieved.
The state Coordinator, Hon Ahmed Danjuma who also spoke said that the Coordinators were chosen after careful and painstaking selection process which took into account the track record of the appointees. He assured that all hands will be on deck to ensure victory.
He commended the APC House of Assembly candidate for Kalgo local government Hon Rilwanu Sahabi for donating the building which serves as headquarters for the TSGICC. He describes him as a patriot who has proven his passion for the development of Kebbi state.
