Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa has urged his supporters to avoid anti party activities in the forthcoming governorship and house of Assembly election for the progress of the APC.
Marafa who spoke at a mammoth crowd during the APC stakeholders meeting who converged at his office at Mareri area in Gusau last Monday said, ”for the sake of the party’s victory in the forthcoming gubernatorial and house of Assembly elections, we must ensure formidable unity in order to win all the elections”.
Marafa told his teeming supporters that, whether they were offended in one way or the other for political reasons, they should forgive whatever had happened or currently happening or suspected to happen.
“I am calling on all my supporters to forgive whatever happened in the past, or is currently happening at the moment or will happen in future”.
“Let us fulfill the promise we made earlier to vote for Governor Bello Mattawalle and all the other APC candidates”.
“You all know that, we are always known for keeping our promises. So let us fulfill the promise now and see what will happen in future”.
He further recalled that, the APC was divided into four most popular camps led by former Governors of the state including Ahmed Sani Yarima, Mahmud Aliyu Shinkafi, Abdulaziz Yari and himself before the present Governor Bello Matawalle facilitated moves for reconciliation.
According to him, all the four formidable camps have unanimously promised under the watch of both the Presidency and the party national leaders that they would work together for the victory of the APC in all of the elections in the state.
“Our great APC has already won presidential and majority of the national assemblies’ elections in Zamfara state and of course in many states across the country, therefore, we should not lose a gubernatorial seat to any of the opposition parties in the state”.
Speaking at the occasion, the leader of Senator Marafa political group, Sirajo Garba Maikatato assured Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa that, his supporters were ever ready to do whatever he directed them to do.
He said, “We are solidly behind Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa and we will remain loyal to whatever he directed us to do”.
