Zamfara CP meets heads of security agencies ahead of Governorship/House of Assembly elections

The Zamfara State Police Command under the leadership of CP Kolo Yusuf psc, in Partnership with other heads of security agencies and the INEC have continued to strategise on how to beef up security in all the nooks and crannies of the state before, during and after the 2023 Governorship and House of Assembly elections, scheduled to hold on Saturday 18th March, 2023.

This was contained in a statement by the spokesperson of the command SP Mohammed Shehu and made available to Analyzer news on Wednesday.

Shehu maitained that as Part of the Strategies, the Commissioner of Police met with the heads of security Agencies in his office where he discussed extensively on election security management ahead of March 18th.

During the meeting, the CP and his counterparts have resolved to improve and sustain the working synergy to ensure adequate security and safety of the state so as to provide conducive enviroment for free, fair, credible and peaceful election.

The Commissioner of Police while reassuring the security and safety of the citizens before, during and after the election periods, urges members of the Public to be law abiding and at the same time warns trouble makers to desist from anything capable of causing breach of the public peace and security.
