The Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli has called on center for Qur’anic reciters of Nigeria to pray for an end to the lingering hardship faced by Nigerians.
The emir made the call while receiving leaders of the center at his palace in Zaria.
The Emir explained that the country needed constant prayers due to many challenges facing the country like insecurity and poverty.
He thanked the center for its continued prayers and support towards teaching morality within the communities.
He assured the center that the emirate is ready to partner with any association towards the propagation of Islamic knowledge and morals.
Earlier the chairman of the center Allaramma Salihu Abubakar said they were in the emir’s palace to condole him over the recent mosque collapse in Zaria.
The chairman solicited the emirate council’s support to boost the affairs of the center.
In another development Chairman Kaduna state council of Chiefs and Emir of Zazzau mal Ahmed NUHU Bamalli has charged Ramadan lecture committee to select topics that would positively impact the lives of citizens.
The emir gave the charge while receiving committee members of Ramadan lecture at his palace in Zaria.
He expressed satisfaction with level of contribution of the committee towards propagation of Islamic knowledge during and after Ramadan period.
He stressed the need for the committee to be well prepared to ensure that the forthcoming lecture is successful and impactful.
The Emir said the council was ready to partner with the committee to achieve the objectives of its activities .
The chairman of the Ramadan committee lecture , Muhammad Lawal Baba of Nigeria Television Authority who spoke through his vice chairman Malam Idris Yahaya of Radio Nigeria Kaduna said they were in emir’s palace to condole the emir on the recent mosque collapse and brief the emir on the development of the committee’s preparation toward the forthcoming Ramada lecture.
The Ramadan lecture committee members comprised of representatives from Radio Nigeria Kaduna, FRCN, Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Voice of Nigeria (VON) among others.
