Senator Yari donates N1 million, 30 bags of assorted grains to family of late VOA reporter Danjibga

Senator Abdul Aziz Yari has donated the sum of N1million and 30 bags of assorted grains to the family of late VOA Zamfara reporter, Hamisu Danjibga.

Yari who condoled the family of late Danjibga and members of Zamfara state correspondents chapel described the death of a veteran journalist as a great loss not only to his family but the entire nation in general.

Yari maitained that, late Danjibga left a vacuum in journalism profession very difficult to fill and prayed Allah to forgive his shortcomings.

He said he was moved when he heard the death of late Danjibga, stressing that, “His death has really shocked many people particularly those who knew him”.

“He was a complete gentleman and committed journalist who would forever be remembered because of his investigative reportage”.

“I want to use this opportunity to condole his family and his colleagues the correspondents chapel and I pray to the Almighty Allah to grant his soul an internal rest”.

“At this juncture, I am releasing the sum of N1million and 30 bags of grains to his family as my little assistance to his family”.

In his response, the chairman of the correspondents chapel, Comrade Sani Haruna Dutsinma thanked Senator Yari for the gesture and prayed to Allah to reward him.
