The Controller General of Federal Fire Service, Engineer Abdulganiyu O. Jaji has expressed commitment to expand the role of the communities and encourage the school children to inculcate the idea of safety first at their tender age.
The controller general stated this in a message while Zaria Area Command a wing of Zone B – Kaduna Command hosted the Students from Zaria Anglican Academy for excursion trip.
Speaking while receiving the students, ASF, Zikrillah Sherif who lectured the students on the causes and prevention measures of fire outbreak .
ASF Zikrillah Sharif pointed out that the command would remain committed to fish out the talented students in the community to learn the knowledge and skills of fire safety at their younger age.
Mrs. Abu Blessing Adah who escorted the Students to the station expressed her statisfaction for the quality of lectures and thrilling display of ultra modern fire fighting apparatus.
She said the event was worthy in attendsnce and wish to participate in the upcoming ember month sensitizations.
The event ended with practical demostration of fire fighters equipment by the duty officer, Asf.Nagogo, question and clarifications session by Asf Mohd Abdullahi, tour to the Appliance by the head of operations, Dsf. Abubakar Ibrahim and group photograph.
